Feast of Musicals on RTÉ One – Saturday

There was  an incredible reaction to the broadcast of the RTÉ Concert Orchestra Lennon concert on Saturday 24th – still on the RTÉ Player if you missed it. Now this weekend sees the broadcast of the RTÉ CO celebration of musical theatre. The cream of vocal dramatic talent Killian Donnelly, Susan McFadden and Muirgen O’Mahony join the RTÉ CO and David Brophy for showstoppers from Oklahoma!, The King and I, The Sound of Music, West Side Story,  Company, Into the Woods, Les Misérables and Phantom of the Opera. And in a musicals classic with an Irish twist, the RTÉ CO has a starring role in Noel Kelehan’s gorgeous arrangement of Send in the Clowns. Saturday 24 April, 11.20pm, RTÉ One.
