Keeper of the Flame

World-renowned Michael Feinstein in Sinatra tribute with RTÉ CO

Michael Feinstein has been keeper of the flame for the Great American Songbook for over 30 years. He worked as an assistant and archivist for Ira Gershwin and ‘brought him back to life’; Ira in turn became a mentor and friend. Feinstein is a world-famous interpreter of the repertoire. His recordings and TV appearances have earned him Grammy and Emmy nominations, and he has performed live in the world’s biggest venues, among them Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall and Sydney Opera House, as well as appearing at the White House and Buckingham Palace.

After an acclaimed concert in 2015, he is back with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra for a Sinatra night. Saturday, 25 March National Concert Hall.
