Lloyd Webber Gala for New Year’s Eve

Having spent last New Year’s Eve away on our China tour, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra is back on the NCH stage on 31 December to see in 2019 in style.

The music is a Gala 70th birthday tribute to Andrew Lloyd Webber. Emma Hatton, Muirgen O’Mahoney, Scott Davies and Michael McCarthy join the RTÉ CO and David Brophy to celebrate the composer of Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Sunset Boulevard, Starlight Express, Jesus Christ Superstar, Aspects of Love and many more.

Kicking off at 10pm, there are tunes through to midnight, a glass of bubbly in the interval, a countdown and Auld Lang Syne to mark the arrival of the New Year!
