Maxim Vengerov Public Masterclass

The RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra invites applications from advanced level violin students studying in/graduates of colleges in Ireland to take part in a public masterclass with internationally acclaimed violinist Maxim Vengerov, hailed as one of the world’s finest musicians and currently the Stephan and Viktoria Schmidheiny Stiftungsprofessor at the Mozarteum University Salzburg and the Polonsky Visiting Professor of Violin at the Royal College of Music in London.

This masterclass will take place on Saturday 21 March from 11am to 1pm in the Kevin Barry Room in the National Concert Hall.

Players will be invited to participate based on application.

Candidates are asked to submit a CV and two proposed pieces.

The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday 28 February at 5pm.
