On Friday, July 12th, RTÉ lyric Live with Paul Herriott presented an RTÉ Concert Orchestra double bill, with recordings from November 2023 and March 2024.
Kensho Watanabe conducts the RTÉ  Concert Orchestra in a programme including Ravel and Brahms and Alex Murphy of the Young Offenders fame narrates Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra and in this RTÉ Concert Orchestra double bill, Kerem Hasan conducts the Orchestra in Rossini’s William Tell Overture, Elgar’s Enigma Variations, and Alim Beisembayev joins the orchestra for Rachmaninov’s Piano Concerto No.2.
