With Stakionis at the helm, the RTÉ Concert Orchestra will perform classical overtures such as Beethoven’s Coriolan Overture and Strauss’ Die Fledermaus Overture.

Romantic classics include Janáček’s Adagio for orchestra, JW 6/5, and Chabrier’s Danse slave from the opera Le Roi malgré lui.

Winner of the Yves Paternot Prize at the 2023 Verbier Festival and of the Boston District Met Opera/ Laffont Competition, Irish soprano Ava Dodd, will join the Orchestra for Qui la voce from Bellini’s I Puritani, Vilja from Lehár’s Die Lustige Witwe, and The Jewel Song from Gounod’s Faust.
